Tonight, a patient told me that he was the creator of the universe, the almighty God, and that he had powers. We talked for a bit, i tried to bring some reality into the conversation, then I lit his cigarette.
He quickly grabbed my lighter and tried to burn his arm to show me that he couldn’t feel the fire. I managed to take the lighter back just in time. He smiled at me, locked eyes, and told me I was a king.
He paused for a few seconds, lowered his head, then looked straight into my eyes again and said, “You are the king of peace.” ✌️ 7 replies
