Game devs really inspire me!

A solo dev worked on Manor Lords for 5 years before finally releasing it.

Think of the amount of work without knowing if it would do well. 🤯
Just focusing on their craft and making a great experience.

Building poolfish.xyz (/poolfish). A calculator for LP providers. Cooking /hotpotato. Built Potion solo to $6k+ MRR and sold for $300k.

city/base-building games and resource management games are by far my favorite genre so i follow this stuff closely. 

i think it's hyped because the creator is a serious auteur and has deeply researched the time period and brought a lot of that research into the game design

Why was there so much hype around it in the early days?
