We built a cross-chain DeFi protocol using @chainlinklabs and LayerZero on ETHGlobal EthSingapore Hackathon. Our dapp allow users to move tokens from one chain to another and take complex DeFi positions like leverage and looping strategies in a single click. All smart contracts were deployed on Mainnet, connecting Base, Arbitrum, and Linea. No mocks or shortcuts—everything is fully functional on Mainnet. We also integrated Reown on-ramp feature for retail users. We built the entire project in 36 hours with no rest, just building. We will definitely take this project further and build more complex DeFi strategies on top of existing protocols like Aave and Compound. We are building DeFi for real retail users. However, the biggest drawback is that if AI companies still don’t comply, it would require legal action, which is often slow and expensive. This approach could work in places like America or Europe where strong IP laws exist. However, if AI companies relocate to a third-world country where IP laws are weak and legal proceedings are slow, they could easily bypass them. Story team, have I got this right, or is there any other way that AI companies have to comply without going to court?"

I skimmed through the @storyprotocol —it’s an amazing idea. (Haven't built anything on it yet). My Mind Map: They mentioned that they created the Story Protocol with the help of top IP advocates. The most interesting part I found is that they convert everything to NFTs. For example, if The Washington Post publishes an exclusive article under their paywall, they can register it as IP on the Story Protocol and set rules that no one (particularly AI companies) can use their data. If someone does, Story Protocol will have on-chain attestations (built by some partner) to confirm that IP laws have been broken.
