more founders should burn their own money / be resourceful with grants and revenue BEFORE raising any / big funds — believe this ACTUALLY increases your chance of 'success'.

when you're bootstrapping, you tend to be way more scrappy and resourceful — simply because you have no other choice. don't ask investors to sponsor your idea maze — sponsor it yourself and pitch when you're ready. even better — attract, don't chase.

the way you attract is by being resourceful and building great product people want. as the saying goes, BE SO GOOD THEY CAN'T IGNORE YOU.

Totally agree and it’s what we are doing for about 1,5 years.

Sometimes quite difficult to support fast traction in the team, but it adds some freedom and speed in the strategy.
