The most dangerous narrative right now is people comparing the India–Pakistan conflict with the Israel–Gaza conflict.
While Israel has been a strong ally of India, the situations are not the same. Gaza is a stateless region, heavily blockaded, with limited ability to defend itself.
On the other hand, Pakistan is a sovereign nation that has long harbored globally recognized terrorists like Osama bin Laden and Hafiz Saeed—with undeniable links between their military establishment and terrorist groups.
Also, let’s not ignore the difference in how both countries approach the issue. Israel labels it as Islamic terrorism. India, despite facing decades of Pakistan-sponsored terrorism, never makes it about religion.
We’re a country with over 200 million proud Indian Muslims, many of whom serve in the armed forces, stand against terrorism, and stand with India. In fact, one of the key heroes leading India’s defense is a Muslim—Colonel Sofiya Qureshi.
Our fight is against terrorism, not any faith. 0 reply
