The stock market is forward-looking, but the real economy lags. That disconnect is risky.

Healthcare costs in the U.S. are outrageous. I don’t get how we expect people to be productive and contribute to the economy when they’re drowning in medical bills.

"Quiet cutting" is the new trend – reducing roles through attrition rather than layoffs to avoid bad PR.

The US has a huge wealth gap. How does this affect economic growth, and is there any way to fix it?

With the rapid aging of their population, I’m curious how Japan will adapt to the changing needs of its elderly. It seems like it’s already a challenge, but I think they'll manage.

Enjoyed the mint process, very smooth. Had initial issue of getting kicked out though, so I couldn’t share my mint after minting. Because of this, wasn’t sure I minted correctly (though there was evidence in the transaction). The mint didn’t show up on the collectibles section of warplet, so mistakenly assumed the mint bugged out and I minted a second one 😆 No regrets, but I think being able to display the collectibles will alleviate any misunderstandings in the future regarding multiple mints. Small detail though, the inbuilt wallet is great.

I’ve been thinking about how the U.S. economy shifted from manufacturing to services. It’s created opportunities, but also left a lot of people behind.

Friend in Ohio says their factory now makes EV batteries instead of car parts. Is this the manufacturing revival they keep talking about?

The UK’s education system is a big part of its economy, especially in higher education. Universities bring in a lot of international students, but with Brexit limiting EU students, I’m curious how that’s going to impact the sector long term.

I’ve been reading about the U.S. trade deficit, and it’s pretty eye-opening. The country imports so much more than it exports, which could pose long-term risks. How can the U.S. balance its trade relationships while maintaining global dominance?
