Last year, a lightning strike took out our solar setup, leading us to upgrade with new panels and a battery. The installer cleverly wired it so our kitchen/family room retains power in case it happens again, ensuring cooking, TV, lights, and a/c are unaffected. Fingers crossed we won't need it! 🤞
