The decentralized AI and DePIN project OORT has announced an update to its token economy model, with a total of 2 billion OORT tokens. Key changes include: 400 million OORT tokens will be allocated as OORTEdge network node rewards over the next five years, and an additional 800 million OORT tokens will be locked down for five years starting from September 15, 2024, with the lock up address to be announced in the near future; The unlocking period for the 200 million OORT tokens allocated by the founding team has been extended from four years to six years, in line with the long-term healthy development goals of the OORT ecosystem. @ftiioma @drdeath
