Bitcoin's Lightning Network is about to get a major upgrade. The latest implementation, called ELA, aims to increase transaction capacity by 10x and reduce fees by 90%. This could make it more viable for mainstream adoption. Stay tuned for the roll-out, expected to happen soon.
