If you're waking up on monday, and then every weekday it goes like: “- ok a couple of hours, and my work for today is over” “- ok need to bear this a bit more, just a couple of days until the weekend” ..then it's super wrong, and it's a good skill to detect a moment when instead of living you're just mostly waiting for the time to pass.

The WHAT is almost irrelevant. This is why i love my job: 1)Requires a specific skillset (it can never be mastered (a handful of people have come close) 2)Even though it plays out within a defined set of rules each project is unique. Almost like any sports match: the boundaries are fixed but no one game is the same. 3)Blends art and science. The ratio of the mix is up to your ability to justify either side. 4)Each project takes proper time. Anywhere between 2 - 10 years & in some cases multiple generations (which is not much in the context of 4.5 billion years) 5)Requires collaboration across multiple teams with diverse skill sets to successfully complete a project (from thinkers to do’ers to makers & breakers) 6)Conceptual ideas are turned into physical reality that can be experienced & explored in real life. 7)Curiosity and following that golden thread into the unknown is encouraged and celebrated. In summary: Continuous learning across a spectrum of interests attached to a bigger sense purpose.

you can't imagine how much i enjoyed reading this — i wish to find sth i'd love that much as you do (and glad that you did)! the exact criteria i'd opt for. (still this made me even more interested in what exactly that is haha)
