AI is possibly the only technology in history where in the span of a few months your costs can drop by 30X, with the quality going *up*. We don’t fully realize how quickly the cost of intelligence is going to be near zero for most use-cases.

AI training and inference is a centralized problem. And nearly all AI interactions happen over the internet, so datacenters don’t have to be close to the user. Which means regions that can lower the cost of energy and enable building more datacenters will win the future.

My general view of AI since ChatGPT has been to not hack around current AI limitations, and generally just bet that models will continue to get cheaper, faster, and more intelligent. This strategy has wildly exceeded my expectations given the rate of improvements we now see.
