OMG - Quantum computers will be able to solve ecliptic curve crytpo in seconds when they have about 1,000,000 logical qubits. (Problem is it’s about 10 physical to one logical, the largest number is in the 100s and the best superposition and entanglement effects last milliseconds after consuming a power grid)

Quantum computing is still in its early days. While the potential for breaking elliptic curve cryptography is real, we’re a long way from having quantum machines with 1,000,000 logical qubits. Current challenges like error rates, coherence times, and massive power requirements need significant breakthroughs.
