hi! if you're new to warpcast or returning after a break away, reply here with a couple things you're into or content you typically enjoy and i'll do my best to point you in the right direction or connect you with some new friends. ps if it isn't obvious, we are SO happy to have you (back) here!

been grinding heads down for quite a whole, looking to come back indeed. mostly wondering how channels work rn, where/how to cast best, are powerbadges still passé?

no more power badges! that was... rough period for everyone. dark time LOL, glad we are past it. some channels are public (anyone can cast in them), others are private (need to DC the owner to get added). working on a directly for this so it's easier to know where to cast! re: channels, cast if you want people interested in a specific niche or topic to see it or you can always cast to main. glad you're back :)

Thanks T! Beautiful youre doing gods work now from the FC inside :) I believe there was a (perceived) advantage to casting in channels in terms of potential reach before. Has that changed?

no algorithmic advantage to posting in channels, but the content is more static in a channel vs. ephemeral in a feed. i've noticed my casts in channels get more replies over time because people can go and visit the channel and see them. in other words, they have a longer tail and go directly to people who care.
