Moldovan priest lost half a million lei to crypto scammers A 69-year-old priest from the city of Soroca fell victim to scammers after investing more than 575,000 Moldovan lei (about $32,000) in a supposed crypto investment platform. This is reported by local media. He made the transfers from January 13 to February 25. After access to the funds was lost, he contacted the police on March 21.
