You may have heard about the changes in X’s TOS, effective as of November 15. If not, the summary is that by posting your work on that social network, you agree that it may be used to train their AI, Grok.
There’s no opt-out.
Fortunately, it’s possible to 'protect' your artworks so the AI can’t (to some extent) use them for training. This tool, called 'Glaze,' developed by the University of Chicago, allows you to do that.
It requires an Nvidia GPU and takes a bit of time. For the accompanying image in this cast, with a resolution of 3000x3000, it took just under 1 minute with an RTX 3090.
Unfortunately, I don’t know of anything similar for treating video, but something is better than nothing.
