Intel announced later on Wednesday that it has appointed Chen Liwu, a key figure in the semiconductor industry, as its CEO. Chen Liwu will replace interim co CEOs David Zinsner and Michelle Johnston Holthaus. Intel stated that he will also rejoin the Intel board of directors after stepping down in August 2024.
