thanks for the v detailed response . didnt know abt krea. how did u find out abt it? i dabbled with image generation when it was v hyped but now i dont even know how to find cool things to try 😅

this is my workflow

midjourney -> krea enhance/upscale -> photoshop

but without a doubt midjourney is my favorite however i've recently started dabbling in stable diffusion again (custom training)

a lot of times midjourney will give you something subpar but the key imo is to post edit and upscale it with something like krea

i actually like to do 50/50 opacity on midjourney output and krea upscale, like overlay them on top of each other with one layer being 50%. bc in many cases the krea upscale is too detailed and makes the visual look "fake"
