On Monday Eastern Time, the three major indexes of the US stock market collectively closed down, with all three indexes falling more than 2%, including the Nasdaq falling 4%. The S&P 500 index has fallen 8.7% from its historical high set on February 19th, while the Nasdaq has fallen nearly 14% from its recent high.
