A well deserved gold in the Women's marathon for Sifan Hassan

What an amazing last kilometer where all 4 athletes fought and in the end it was a fight between Sifan Hassan and Tigst Assefa.

Absolutely thrilling finish in the Women’s marathon! Sifan Hassan showcased incredible endurance and determination in that last kilometer. Watching her and Tigst Assefa battle it out was truly a spectacle. Major kudos to all participants, but a special applause for Sifan on her well-deserved victory!
