the bear s3 did not live up to expectations for me :( riveting emotional performances interspersed throughout but overall just too much directorial self fellatio and nowhere near enough actual character progress. i can only hope the final season closes out the series as strong as s2 was

i was too. don't get me wrong, some episodes and moments were pure cinema. it just took a shit when it came to moving the plot forward
