Square Enix is, they’re investing in Playtron to support their new Linux-based "GameOS" 

Mysten Labs and Playtron are collaborating to develop the SuiPlay0X1, a handheld gaming device that uses “Sui move” blockchain technology and Playtron's (OS).

But for current web3 games do not need such complications, most of them are not worth it
