Im still sad about the loss of my 1 yr old dog, and new puppy doesn’t help he only reminds me of the loss

Thank you, i think mt whole family was so quick to try to fill that void with a new puppy that we didnt take the time to grieve properly and thought we could replace him like a broken ps5 but your absolutely right

animals don’t substitute each other. 
take your time to grief, i’m so sorry for your loss.
