I've created a custom ASCII solver in Houdini, and I feed 3d animations into it :)

I wonder how this is even made, it looms so cool ;-;

I would bet that you animate it in a 3D software, split it in frames to turn them into ASC-2 and then arrange them back, but I'm not sure.

Still, I love this kind of art.
