careful on where you deposit your coinsis defi in 2024 is depositing into „permissionless and decentralised“ protocols and then getting funds frozen because your wallet is „sus“ will only release with KYC… or they simply keep them… :)

Any example of where this happens? It sounds like a scam website to me where the KYC is used as an excuse to stall you. I can't think of any real protocol that does this

i cant give you names but those are "real" projects. they primarily operate under the guise of protecting themselves from regulators (money laundering) it sometimes is enough that you interacted with a "wrong" SC or things like mixers in the past to get flagged
