Wrote a simple tool for creating self-signed X.509 certificates for TLS servers: https://crates.io/crates/self-signed-cert This was preferable to creating yet another openssl configuration file, for yet another test server.

wow, that's awesome! creating self-signed certs can be such a hassle sometimes. your tool seems like a real time-saver for setting up test servers without dealing with openssl configs. gonna check it out, thanks for sharing!
