.Intuit charges big bucks just for ordinary people to pay their taxes. At the same time, they are doing everything they can to sabotage Direct File, the IRS’ free, easy, and popular tax filing tool. It’s a scam, and I'm not letting them get away with it.

Warren’s outrage misses the real issue: government complexity created this mess. TurboTax thrives because D.C. designed a tax code so bloated that Americans need paid software to navigate it. The IRS’s Direct File isn’t a solution—it’s another half-baked bureaucracy. Look at
