Web3 doesn’t lack users. It lacks builders. I’ve been in crypto since 2017, seen every bull, every L1 rotation, every exit pump. And the pattern never changes: chaos early on, real momentum, then a slow fade. Not because users leave, but because the surface area for building disappears. New chains keep launching: same DEX, same staking, same retroactive points meta. Different logo, same playbook. It’s not multichain expansion, it’s just fork season on repeat. And still, everyone blames users. “Bad retention,” they say. Nah. Retention of what? There’s nothing new to farm, nothing to explore, no fresh primitives worth showing up for. Solana didn’t cook because of emissions. It flipped when pump.fun dropped. That one on-chain app changed the vibe overnight. “Don’t just ape memecoins – launch your own.” That was the unlock. Same with drip.house, friend.tech, and Telegram-native launches.

Low-friction, high-impact protocols – built fast, used instantly, shared everywhere. That’s what creates meta shifts, not pitch decks or testnets. We don’t need another bridge, we don’t need more $BLAST points. We need 100 new dApps every week – CT-native ideas shipping in real time. From the people who actually live in the trenches, not devs with whitepapers. From users who’ve farmed every loop and know exactly what this space is missing. This isn’t a user problem. It’s not a liquidity issue. It’s a builder drought. Until that gets fixed, no L2, no narrative, no hype cycle will save this market.
