At the Logistics Automation Madrid today, I experienced a jarring moment. While actively discussing Aunova, a male salesperson ignored me, directing his question to my male co-founder Christian, who hadn't been speaking. It's disheartening to see such blatant sidelining of women in tech.

that really sucks. what did your cofounder do? have you spoke with him about this? i’ve found it most powerful when another man corrects the original guy. one of my old bosses was a guy and if anyone did that, he would redirect the question at me and reaffirm my expertise and credibility. it stopped happening.

Ugh I’m sorry. I hate how universal that experience is too. I’ve definitely been there before and it sucks. 😡😡

I feel this so much! Being ignored or dismissed is much more painful than any explicit sexist remarks (for me at least). Sorry about your experience 😔

I got a combo of that being a girl gamer, a girl in tech and a girl in crypto. Numerous times I was "examined" for my knowledge, skill and wether I was worthy to even go to conventions and fair. Always proven the guys wrong and learned to be strait forward and assertive. Very sad that it happened to you!
