To fully finish the thought....I don't want to be 'sold' in the place where I come to talk and exchange ideas, its the digital equivalent of someone stuffing a flyer in your face as you walk by. If there are channels where I can choose to see this content, great! But I suspect the 'artists' don't want that model b/c no one would voluntarily go to a channel to get shilled by hundreds of people

"artists who just want to share their work" I could do with less constant bombardment of AI generated slop and endless free mint frames. Artists just looking for another sales channel where they can post their stuff and disappear have never liked farcaster, and that's kinda ok with me, rather have the builder talk
