Before Aave, Stani Kulechov built one of the first DeFi apps in 2017 called ETHLend. Today, Aave hosts $20 billion across the ecosystem.

3. @polymarket creates open markets for betting on future events, improving everyone's understanding of the future by letting us see what people with skin in the game predict.

Last year, @polymarket became the #1 app in the App Store and saw $9B in volume.

4. On @zora you post for fun and earn for real.

Founders @dee and Jacob Horne met while working on Coinbase, and started working on a crypto x fashion project (remember SAINTFAME?), before launching @zora a social NFT app where >160K creators earn from their posts.

Ethereum cuts out the middleman, which means on /soundxyz artists keep the profits from their work and build stronger connections with their fans, through ownership and exclusive perks.

8. @farcaster is a decentralized social media protocol.

Launched in 2020 by @dwr.eth and @varunsrin, Farcaster enables a new kind of social media where anyone can build a client (like @warpcast), and users can interact with onchain components called Frames.

9. @ensdomains is an ID system built on Ethereum, offering easy to use names (alice.eth) instead of complex crypto addresses.

Because ENS is built on Ethereum, anyone can use it or integrate with it (like @warpcast or @godaddyy), and users *actually* own their ENS name.

10. @rotki is an open source portfolio tracker and accounting tool that prioritizes privacy. 

Rotki lets you track assets & manage a portfolio across centralized exchanges, DeFi protocols, and different L2s. All locally stored and secure. I use it!

11. @matchaxyz is a DEX aggregator, which gives users a single interface for the best prices and liquidity available across many different decentralized exchanges (DEXs).

13. Quark ID enables every resident of Buenos Aires to have a self-sovereign ID, powered by @zksync and Ethereum.

17. /basepaint is a shared pixel canvas on @base where a community creates art together for 24 hours.

Then, the art is minted as an NFT where artists earn 90% of profits, proportionate to the number of pixels they contributed.

18. The Nouns Foundation auctions one generative NFT (a Noun), every 24h, with proceeds going to a DAO controlled by Noun owners.

Nouns funds creative projects like films and art, and public goods like onchain infra (e.g. prop house) and real-world infra (like schools in Uganda).

20. @fluidkey is an onchain privacy solution, that links your private ENS to dynamic stealth addresses, so each transaction is unique and private. 

Fluidkey is compatible with a wide range of wallets, including hardware options.

19. Hyperdrive.box is an AMM for fixed rate yield markets, built on top of yield sources like stETH & sDAI. 

This lets users earn fixed rate yield, or lock in fixed rates on existing positions from lending protocols, all while LP positions never mature.

21. @opensea  is an NFT marketplace founded in 2017. 

The team built quietly for 3 years, laying the foundation for NFTs to grow into a huge ecosystem in 2021. Opensea  and NFTs helped the public to realize that Ethereum is a platform for creators, artists, game devs, and more.

Glow currently has 95 active solar farms, producing 1,110 MWh/month.

27. @morpho is a decentralized lending protocol with ~$4B total value locked.

Morpho offers lending, borrowing, and permissionless market creation with custom parameters. And the core contracts are immutable, meaning Morpho is not exposed to governance risks.

28. @livepeer powers real-time AI video with decentralized infrastructure. 

A global network of nodes receive and perform compute tasks, in exchange for micropayments and a stake in the network.

29. SecretAgent is a prizewinning hack from @ethglobal's Agentic Ethereum hackathon.

The project lets crypto-native AI agents securely manage API keys, for instance to enable the agent to pay for its own LLM access. Built by @theozero, @sergiy, and Phil Miller.

30. @railgun enables fully private DeFi transactions on Ethereum using zero-knowledge proofs

Railgun is a system of smart contracts that lets you transact, swap, lend, and borrow with full privacy, without using custodial bridges.

31. /eas lets you use Ethereum to make attestations ("The University of Ethereum confirms that 0xstark.eth has completed a training course in...")

It's open source, permissionless, and token-free. It's been used by 420K attesters to make 7M attestations, to 1.4M recipients.
