Ferruccio Lamborghini (1916-1993) was an Italian entrepreneur and founder of Lamborghini. Initially successful in tractor manufacturing, he entered the automobile industry in 1963. By producing luxury and sports cars like the Miura and Countach, Lamborghini became an iconic brand.

Using his mechanical knowledge, he entered the tractor manufacturing business and established the Lamborghini Trattori factory in 1948, and quickly became the most important producer of agricultural equipment during the years of economic reforms after the Italian war.
