Initially, Polyhedra had a different ticker symbol, $ZKB. But when it came time to list their token, they opted for $ZK, seemingly to ride the wave of hype surrounding zkSync. It's important to note that zkSync, given its name, naturally aligns with the $ZK ticker in the minds of the crypto community.
