Blockchain interoperability is the next frontier. With the likes of Chainlink CCIP, CCTP and not polygons aggregation layer, competition is heating up. It's likely going to be a "winner take most" scenario. It's difficult to argue against a multi-chain future.

But in all likelihood 90% of capital/liquidity will be concentrated between 4-5 L1/L2 imo

I actually think liquidity will be completely fragmented beyond 4-5 L1/L2 and L3 especially as chains get abstracted away from users.
