1. What are the reasons for not separating rpc api into its own standalone component? 2. Do you think Ethereum execution and consensus clients could benefit from using QUIC and AF_XDP? Solana has upgraded to using QUIC and their firedancer consensus client is going to use AF_XDP.

1. Wdym? In reth we allow spinning up a json RPC against just a db. In geth and other nodes I think you cannot read while the node is running 2. Yes possibly

ethereum lighthouse actually implemented quic and found significant benefits, but the libp2p team found and removed a defaul setting which made the libp2p TCP even more performant! https://x.com/mempirate/status/1742564119776018717?s=20
