So, as a US citizen, is it dumb that I'm staking on Eigenlayer? I feel like I'm providing value to the AVSs that I'm staking on, but am I just sacrificing my own potential earnings on my staked ETH for nothing? I feel like EIGEN is just extracting any potential future rewards that I would get for contributing.

just use app.sandclock.org - yields are way better. Or look at superform (https://www.superform.xyz/) - sandclock has the best yield profile. Disclaimer: NFA.
