great convos are happening on here every day and we're all having them in little silo'd chats instead of one big conversational party, it's absurd

It kinda feels like wc disincentivizes replying - for the people who know how visibility works here, but also those who just don’t know why they never get engagement.
I want to see the popular/interesting back & forth, not just top level casts, which a lot of times are less interesting than the dialogue in replies

yes. exactly what they fail to realize is what make social media most engaging and what users actually want. that’s why they end up flocking back to twitter.
