Bitcoin Mining Revenue Hits $1.4 Billion in January 2025

🔸 Data collected from the first month of 2025 shows that Bitcoin mining revenue in January reached $1.4 billion, about $40 million less than in December. This figure makes January the second most profitable month in the last 9 months.

🔸 According to statistics published on the Block website (TheBlock.co), the total revenue in December was $1.44 billion, which includes subsidies and fees. Of this amount, about $39.38 million was earned from on-chain fees. In January 2025, fees accounted for $20.37 million of the total $1.4 billion in revenue.

🔸 These results indicate a complex situation for Bitcoin miners. Despite the fluctuations in the price of Bitcoin and on-chain fees, stable revenue indicates the ability to continue operating in changing conditions.  It has recently been reported that miners are experiencing a decline in transmission activity in China, which may be the reason for the decrease in fee income.
