MIPS is machine language that used 32-bit instruction words but developed in 2017 to use 64-bit instruction words too, which are in hexadecimal notation. MIPS stands for "Microprocessor without Interlocked Pipelined Stages" which means it focused on simplicity and speed We'll talk about it more next days
