Clanker works because players are profit-seeking monkeys. Every cycle is similar. There is information asymmetry that allows some people to frontrun the rest of the world. As the cycle progresses, tools pop up that distribute access to skills more evenly. Last cycle, only engineers and artists shipped NFTs. Later, tools became available up to roll your own NFT, saturating supply faster than new capital can enter. A small group made profits building memecoins. Clanker now distributes access.

I dont disagree per se, but joining Farcaster (never mind knowing about it) and messaging Clanker is about as difficult as funding a Phantom wallet and making a pumpfun. Maybe a bit easier, but Clanker is more of an iteration. More significant I think is that Clanker deploys coins completely for free. Iirc for pumpfun you have to risk some SOL. Clanking also is more integrated into the network of course, which can make it so much more casual. Pumpfun feels tryhard in comparison.
