Has anyone tried viem over ethers or web3.js?

I've used wagmi which I believe uses viem and ethers under the hood. From my brief search while starting afresh, I saw wagmi as the most preferred lib for nextjs apps specifically.

Thank you, I wouldn't call that insight, just my 2 cents on what little I know about it, I am more a game dev/web dev and won't call myself even an intermediate level dapp developer.
