The upcoming EIP-4844 upgrade will have a huge impact on transactions costs on the OP Stack. I created a dashboard to track the txs fee cost on the OP Stack (Optimism, Zora, Base) for the average transaction, but also Dex Trades, ERC20, ER721 and Native Transfers. Lets see how these costs will change next week!

If you want to show what a βnormalβ user might experience: Some kind of median (or way to handle skew by trading bots that will pay high priority fees) could be cool! In the past Iβve just overridden priority fee to be 0.001 or something like that (still high though) cc @0xkofi @mseidl

Will share the smol experiment we've been talking about after 4844 goes live, using that consumer level priority fee method π«‘

I also wonder if there's something like "assume transactions with < X priority fee are consumers" since as chains hit L2 congestion, wallets may suggest actual priority fees. ^ thinking is evolving here. Or we could take "median of prior blocks" (similar to what wallets do)
