Vitalik proposed to replace EVM with RISC-V, aiming to address the EVM's inefficiency in ZK proving. https://x.com/pumatheuma/status/1913938547301863630 What is RISC-V? An open-source, lightweight computer instruction system (like a blueprint for how processors run code). Why is RISC-V special? It’s fast, efficient, and easy to work with, especially for advanced tech like ZK proofs. Key Difference with EVM - EVM is designed just for Ethereum. - RISC-V is a general-purpose system used in the broader tech world. Why switch to RISC-V? Vitalik suggests RISC-V could make Ethereum up to 100x faster and more scalable with ZK tech. What do you think?
