I've been testing out a few different Ethereum wallets like Metamask, Rainbow, Rabby and Brume recently. I've noticed inconsistent issues connecting wallets to sites that use the big bloat connection kits - Like RainbowKit or Web3Modal.

Sometimes apps refuse to connect or don't detect the correct wallet. Or don't event detect an injected provider. If I were to guess, this is probably an issue with these libraries preferring branding over just accepting a valid EIP1193 object. Is the 'just works' tradeoff using these libs with 500+ deps no longer true?
