so bc @bias was, without their consent, allocated $moxie and enrolled in that experiment, they are now obligated to take time and effort out of their day to launch and maintain a fan token so people farming $moxie can earn money through farming shallow conversation? and if they don’t, they’re selfish and only think of themselves? interesting take.

bruh STOP POSTING IN WOMEN’S SPACES like it’s really fucking easy to post in the literal hundreds if not thousands of other channels on farcaster its also really easy to just like…stop talking about women as these creatures you don’t understand or things who exist to date men? are you a woman? are you trying to authentically connect with women or understand the professional and personal struggles they go through every single day just existing as women? no? then /farcasther isn’t for you!!!

genuinely don’t think you fully understand what monetizing every single social interaction has done and how it affects both parties’ understanding of an interaction’s authenticity or intention

your protocol is the cause of this massively increased burden on the more popular fc accounts that made moxie viable and your suggestion is for her to essentially just deal with it and maybe another company can fix her issue of getting slammed with up to 800 replies in a single day? 😒

if you’re a ruthless empiricist then you should also be aware of how skewed and biased historical data is, especially concerning anything to do with women. you HAVE to acknowledge most of the modern world was built by men, for men https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/41104077-invisible-women

@eulerlagrange.eth why are you posting content in /farcasther and other women-friendly spaces that’s not-so-subtly unfriendly towards women? • “is therapy real?” • “this CHILD expressed emotions, she should learn stoicism” • “if i order extra fries on a date with a woman, am i calling her fat?” • the hawk tua girl video that’s just within the past 48 hrs, and nothing about this celebrates women or positions them in a positive light at all. what’s up bro?

interesting that the sister is upset bc her brother never shows her any affection at all and she wants to know her brother loves her and instead of thinking “oh maybe this is an opportunity to teach men it’s okay to show their feelings and be affectionate” you turn it into a “she needs to change” and post it into the women’s channel on farcaster :)

that’s not how it works :) ALL content and engagement data goes through the farcaster protocol (hub network) which every app or client shares. each app is responsible for filtering spam out of the protocol Warpcast receives the exact same data that every other app does (supercast, amp, nook, etc). It just feels sparkly clean bc they have the best spam filtering and biggest team working on that problem TLDR protocol traffic is the same on every app, every app is reponsible for cleaning that traffic up

she isn’t wrong to be depressed that her daughter is being targeted by a massively powerful marketing machine just bc your sisters were more well behaved than their brothers and your dad bought them stuff :) this is about the ridiculous pressure society puts on women to alter appearances and fit a mould, and then the disgusting amount of consumption that is expected of them. not if it’s easier to raise a boy or girl

dude i’m not pretending these sources don’t exist lmao i’m saying they’re worse sources than the exact language of the act we’re talking about do you know what the word valor means btw? “great courage in the face of danger, especially in battle” knowing that, it makes a lot of sense that stolen valor would only apply to medals and honours relating to displays of great courage in battle and not just climbing up hierarchy ranks :) this is not *MY* interpretation. i have quoted the exact stolen valor act from the official .gov source which clearly states it applies to that specific list of medals and decorations. maybe not as clearly to you, who is definitely biased in their feelings about tim waltz ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

wild how some people think a document written in the late 1700s by a bunch of wealthy white men doesn’t have the best interests of current America at heart and should be reconsidered or amended :) it’s almost like black people are citizens now and women can own property and vote, things have changed so much since then!

it’s actually really really interesting that you can’t seem to grasp that the stolen valor act only applies to medals and decorations, not ranks this photo seems to be of a challenge coin that has a symbol of the RANK in question medals and decorations do not include rank it’s still not covered under the stolen valor act, which once again - is the violation you’re accusing him of committing and then covering up this conversation is pointless if you won’t even concede that you’ve misinterpreted the letter of the act you’re using as a basis for your argument :)

read your first cast 😉 it’s about how he is “no longer in violation of the stolen valor act” my argument is he was never in violation of it in the first place not misdirecting the convo at all :)

If you can provide the exact text of the law instead of a link of some attorney’s SEO written explanation of it, it is always a better source than something one or more steps removed I know the law is sometimes written in difficult to understand language, and in this case you are misinterpreting this language. Literally the stolen valor act ONLY applies to the medals and decorations listed there. I know the beginning says “rewrite provisions relating to fraudulent claims about military service” but you do realize this is not the actual content of the act because it goes on to specify exactly what provisions they are amending? I.e. the medals they list out below This is exactly why you get closest to the source, as you step further away from it, the actual meaning gets obfuscated and misinterpreted ✌🏻

you’ve provided an attorney’s interpretation of the law. the exact text of the stolen valor act is: “Whoever, with intent to obtain money, property, or other tangible benefit, fraudulently holds oneself out to be a recipient of a decoration or medal described in subsection (c)(2) shall be fined under this title, imprisoned not more than one year, or both.” rank is not included in “decoration or medal” this. i’ve included a screenshot directly from a government website of the exact language of the stolen valor act. in regards to your provision of the 600-8-19 regulation, that’s military regulation and ethics. not the stolen valor act… so like, what i’m saying is he didn’t violate the stolen valor act this is literally an ethical debate, not a violation of a criminal code. as i’ve said, mountain out of a mole hill https://www.congress.gov/bill/113th-congress/house-bill/258
