The U.S. Treasury Department has imposed sanctions on Cambodian tycoon Ly Yong Phat and his businesses LYP Group and O-Smach Resorts for allegedly trafficking in people and forced labor to run online and virtual currency scams. Victims were lured to O-Smach with fake job opportunities and forced to engage in fraudulent activities.
