ah ic but where do the cards come from? do u have to buy digital packs?

It works pretty good - it’s F2P, with the “energy” only tied to pack opening/special card pulls. This means you can play as much as you like, whenever you like.

The mechanics are similar to the regular TCG, but games go a bit quicker. They’ve reduced deck size to 20 cards, energy is auto-drawn, max of 2 of the same card, and they got rid of prize cards. You win by getting 3 points for knocking out your opponent’s Pokémon.

It’s currently soft-launched in New Zealand and will be available Worldwide at the end of the month.
