The hashrate of the Bitcoin network dropped after the fourth Bitcoin halving, as Bitcoin mining companies shut down unprofitable mining machines. The hash rate reached 575 exahs/second on 10th of May, the lowest rate in more than two months, and then recovered slightly to 586 exahsh.

A hacker today started stealing users' assets through the decentralized exchange (DEX) Equalizer. The theft of assets came to light when the Equalizer team issued a tweet warning users to avoid interacting with the exchange.

Recently, two inactive Bitcoin accounts were activated, the first of which has been dormant for over a decade. These addresses have about 500 bitcoins. These 2 wallets, which have been inactive for 7, 10 years, transferred all 1,000 bitcoins ($60.9 million).

The price of Bitcoin remained slightly volatile around $61,000 over the past weekend, but the digital currency suddenly jumped to a multi-day high of nearly $63,000 on Monday morning. Other cryptocurrencies also turned green after the weekend slump, led by Toncoin and Shiba Inu.
