1./ Introduction

Modular blockchains overcome the limitations of traditional monolithic blockchains by dividing the blockchain into layers for enhanced efficiency and scalability. Each specializing in a specific function like execution, consensus, data availability, etc.

2./ Architecture

The architecture of modular blockchains is based on the principle of dividing systems into interchangeable or replaceable modules.

3./ Solving the Blockchain Trilemma

Modular chains solve the dilemma of getting a scalable, secure, and decentralized blockchains simultaneously.

By dividing these functions among specialized layers, modular blockchains optimize each aspect without compromising the others.

4./ Modular blockchains are typically divided into these layers:

- Execution Layer
- Consensus and Data Availability Layer
- Settlement Layer

5./ Execution Layer

Execution layers perform transactions. They handle the computational work of executing smart contracts and managing state changes. 

This specialization contributes significantly to the overall scalability of modular blockchains.

6./ Consensus and Data Availability Layers

Consensus layers validate transactions and achieve agreement across the network. The data availability layer ensures that all transaction data is accessible for validation. 

This specialization helps with security and efficiency.

7./ Settlement Layers

Some modular blockchains such as @dymension.eth also include a settlement layer, which ensures the finality of transactions, they just check that transactions are valid and recorded securely.

8./ Ethereum and Rollups

Ethereum's transition to a rollup-centric architecture is a gud example of adapting modularity. Rollups, as modular solutions, process transactions off-chain and then post the data to Ethereum's main chain. 

This reduces fees and improves scalability.

9./ I believe modular is the future, although the tech is fairly new and still evolving, its potential is already evident and we have seen rollups, validiums, and sovereign rollups, which all implement modular tech succeed.

10./ Without solving the blockchain trilemma the tech is not complete, so far, modular chains seem like the perfect way to solve this trilemma.

Their ability to provide scalability, flexibility, and efficiency addresses many of the current limitations.

11./ Considering that modular blockchains may solve the blockchain trilemma, I think saying they are undervalued and poised for growth is a understatement.

12./ The strength and modular blockchains can be seen by TIA, the most widespread modular blockchains PA, at a massive MC, it already almost pumped 10x since its launch a few months ago. This is one of a kind and incredible for a large cap.

13./ I also think Modular token's like TIA will continue to pump as it is almost like a giant airdrop ponzi where people stake for airdrops and use the airdrops to buy more modular tokens and stake more. Free money glitch kek.
