The way I’m understanding it is you’re almost betting on who you’re tipping. Everyone has openrank, so you’re tipping people that you think will have a positive engagement score that day, and you get a positive score from that. I’m trying to check the website to see my score and understand what tips get positive scores or negative scores or no scores at all

But that's too speculative, don't you think? Also what if you tip a friend?

It’s somewhat speculative for sure, I mean, technically you can not bother speculating and just let your tips get whatever scores they may and you get the portion of the pool at the end, or you can speculate and try to get a better score. I don’t think there’s any impact on tipping friends, that’s natural
