Some more old time 2013/2014 dogecoin lore

I used to voltmod/overclock ASICs for members of r/dogecoin (at-cost, to keep hashrate in the hands of shibes).

Total fire hazard to have em all running at once (test burn-in to see if I broke any prior to shipping). Together, they mined 124,000+ dogecoin a day!

Those were good old days, I think that was my first crypto. Someone on Facebook was giving 1000 dogecoin to everyone who dropped addy as a fun to make everyone see how crypto works.

Yeah, I tipped out a bunch of people in my CS degree when I was working on it - one got back in touch in '21 to told me he held on to it, and it was worth $75k now 😬 

Think it was like, $20 for helping me with an assignment when I originally gave it to him 😅

Never too late tbh. Even in 2013/2014, a lot of us thought we were "too late" - since bitcoin was a couple years old by then.

Bear market of 2014 was a real doom and gloom "it's over" vibe too. Everyone who persevered through was handsomely rewarded.

Same for the 2018 bear tbh, "it's over" until it's not.
